Sam’s path to physiotherapy was a winding one, including picking up a Bachelor of Information Systems and Exercise Science before finishing with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2017. This was broken up with 3 gap years, which he considers to be an ‘essential’ part of any high-quality education.
He has an interest in the vestibular / dizzy population, as well as concussion which can often be seen together. He also has an interest in osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. In the future he would like to take a deeper dive into the complexities of pain science in order to gain further insight into why many people walk through the clinic’s door.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing soccer, running, and most water sports in the summer months (thanks to adjusting to the Queensland temperatures).
