Tom is an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist, having graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Queensland University of Technology.
Through his work, he has treated patients from all age groups and developed clinical experience across musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological conditions. Tom has seen the positive effects exercise has on a vast range of conditions and believes that taking an individualised and holistic approach to treatment with a strong emphasis on client education is crucial to improving health outcomes. Tom enjoys all aspects of exercise physiology, but has a particular interest in chronic disease management, neurological conditions and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Whether it is improving quality of life, quality of movement or quality of performance, Tom is determined to help his clients achieve their goals.
Tom has always been an active person, having played football (soccer) since he was 6 years old. His passion for sport and persistent ankle injuries from football sparked his interest in injury mechanism, prevention and rehabilitation which led Tom down the pathway of Exercise Physiology.
Outside of the clinic, Tom enjoys travelling and loves to keep active by playing cricket or kicking a footy with mates, and taking his dog Leo for a run.
