Sandy is a certified SARAH (program for rheumatoid arthritis) hand therapist.

Experience & Professional Development

Sandy graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from La Trobe in 2018. Since graduating, Sandy has gained experience in aged-care and community NDIS settings. She has developed a wide range of skills working with people of all ages and abilities. Sandy has always had a strong interest in working with individuals requiring upper limb rehabilitation post injury, leading her to becoming part of the team at Melbourne Hand Rehab.

About Sandy McLaren

My approach to care: I am passionate about implementing a patient-centered approach to care. I believe that it is important to understand people, their background and their individual needs and goals to be able to provide effective care.

I am passionate about leading a healthy and active life. I enjoy going to the gym, playing volleyball and walking my dog. I love to experience new places and cultures, travelling all over the world including Europe, Africa and South-East Asia.
