Experience & Professional Development
Chloe attended the University of Melbourne to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. During this time, she completed 33 weeks of placements working with patients of all ages; 4 focused weeks were spent at a hand therapy clinic. She has also completed her Bachelor of Science with a Major in Physiology, and a Diploma of Music, which she then extended to complete her Bachelor of Music with a focus on French Horn performance.
Chloe has a keen interest in combining her passions of science and music to help musicians of all levels return to practice and performing, as music performance can be a lifelong career.
About Chloe Uhrmacher
My approach to care: I believe in using a biopsychosocial approach to treating people – it’s important to learn more about them than just their hand condition. Understanding patients holistically can allow patients and practitioners to work together to provide treatment that is specific to that patient’s goals.
Chloe has volunteered at the Teddy Bear Hospital and enjoys playing music in her free time. She is also an avid rock climber, baker, and traveller.
