Pre-Pointe Assessments are undertaken in the clinic by physiotherapists who have extensive experience in the dance industry at all levels. The assessment determines whether a young dancer is safe and ready to commence pointe work.
This specialised service examines a dancers range of motion, strength as well as looking at ballet technique to ensure that they are ready to start pointe work.
Each assessment takes one hour in duration, allowing therapists to accurately assess and develop a tailored home program for each dancer.
