Doreen has worked in areas such as orthopedics, inpatients and outpatient hospitals, pediatrics, aged care and women’s health. Doreen is qualified to perform dry needling and has completed level 4 in Clinical Pilates with Dance Medical Australia. She has also trained with the Dean Watson Institute for management of cervicogenic headaches.

Doreen has a keen interest in women’s health and is accredited with Women’s Health Training associates as a Women’s Health Specialist. This includes pelvic health, continence and obstetric physiotherapy – antenatal and postnatal, chronic pelvic pain including genitourinary and anorectal pain disorders, pelvic organ prolapse and bowel disorders. Her qualification in real-time ultrasound scanning also complements her pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Doreen trained at Curtin University of Technology (Perth) and was awarded a Master of Physiotherapy in 2006. Since then Doreen has worked with a variety of physiotherapist organisations around Australia, from Perth, Victoria, Darwin and Adelaide to Queensland. Prior to embarking on her physiotherapy career, Doreen completed a degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Western Australia. With 19 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, she has worked as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and health consultant.

Doreen is a keen runner and has competed in marathons and Aerobics championships. She enjoys water skiing, travelling and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
