Sue has been a physiotherapist for 37 years graduating from the University of Queensland in 1985. Early on, she worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation units and private practices both interstate and overseas. On returning from overseas, Sue worked on the Gold Coast where she ran her own busy private practice for 10 years. When family life with young babies became too busy, it was time to move back to Brisbane and to work part time. Working part-time allowed Sue to pursue her interest in the Pilates method and functional exercise. She is passionate about the positive impact that regular and varied movement based exercise sessions can have on the whole body at all stages and ages of life.

Sue has worked here at XPhysiotherapy since the early days implementing exercise practices to help people with their physical recovery and ongoing efficient and optimal functional movement strategies to get out there and live life. She feels very fortunate to work in such a place with high quality physiotherapists and support staff and loves working with the wonderful clients that come through the clinic here at XPhysiotherapy. When not at work, Sue loves doing anything outdoors and hanging out at North Stradbroke Island, her family’s happy place.
