Megan is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 35 years of experience in spinal pain and complex musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Megan completed a master’s degree of musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2001 and between 2022 and 2025, undertook three years of advanced training as a Registrar in the Australian College of Physiotherapy Specialisation Training Program (Musculoskeletal). This highly rigorous program involved intensive clinical mentoring, complex case analysis, and advanced evidence-based practice development. While she has currently stepped back from completing the final examination, this period of postgraduate training reflects her deep commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional growth. She intends to complete the specialisation pathway in the future.
Megan has a particular interest in spinal disorders, movement dysfunction, and persistent pain. She combines advanced manual therapy with carefully prescribed exercise and education to help patients build long-term strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies.
For more than three decades, Megan has integrated Pilates-informed rehabilitation into physiotherapy practice. With formal training in Polestar, STOTT, and Clinical Pilates, she uses movement-based strategies within an evidence-informed musculoskeletal framework to restore function and support lifelong whole body health.
Megan is passionate about empowering her patients through understanding – helping them make sense of their pain, improve their movement, and return to the activities they value.
