Hi there! I’m Wanye, a passionate occupational therapist who recently made the leap from South Africa to the sunny shores of Australia. My journey into OT began with a simple desire to help others lead meaningful lives.

I earned my stripes at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2020. Since then, I’ve had my hands in a bit of everything, from hospital-based OT to a private pediatric practice and even a stint in community OT with an NDIS allied health provider here in Australia. Now, I’m diving back into the world of pediatric occupational therapy, where my heart truly sings.

I’ve always had a special interest for sensory processing and supporting individuals on the autism spectrum. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping these unique minds thrive in their own way. Lately, I’ve also been drawn to the intricate world of hand therapy – a new frontier I’m excited to explore further.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll catch me soaking up the outdoors, whether I’m hitting the trails for a hike, diving into a good book, or splashing around in a game of water polo. And hey, a little Netflix binge never hurt anyone!
