Emma graduated from Deakin University in 2023 with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Before this, Emma completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at La Trobe University in 2020. Throughout this time, she has had many hours of practical experience with a diverse range of clients with acute and chronic conditions and injuries.

Emma has moved back to Hobart after studying in Melbourne for 5 years, and she is loving being back home amongst the community and with her family and friends. She has a history with sport, having been an elite junior hammer thrower for which she represented Tasmania and Australia. She was also a state swimmer, hockey player, and now dabbles in some CrossFit and wants to get back to her roots with hammer throw. This exposure to sport at a young age sparked her interest in how bodies respond to exercise, especially with various conditions and injuries.

Emma loves providing holistic, client-centred care. She believes every client’s story is important and enjoys building relationships with clients to further improve her care. As a new graduate, Emma is keen to learn more about what she wants to specialise in, but enjoys helping people of all ages and backgrounds.

In her spare time, Emma loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoys staying active as well as keeping it balanced – watching TV in front of the fire with her pets!
