Alex graduated in 2005 from the University of Queensland and joined the PhysioWorks team in 2007. In addition to his post at PhysioWorks, Alex has also been heavily involved with teaching and research projects with the AFL, QLD Academy of Sport and Australian Catholic University, and continues a casual teaching position at the University of Queensland.

Alex is the head physiotherapist for several sporting teams PhysioWorks supports, including The Gap Football Club and Western Districts Gymnastics. He is a regular consultant and contributor to ABC Radio Brisbane’s “Health Top Tips” segment and has also been the consultant physiotherapist with Foxtel’s Football Superstar TV series.

Alex has a special interest in low back pain management, hip and pelvic girdle pain, running and triathlon injuries, and shoulder conditions.

You’ll find Alex to be an enthusiastic and caring physiotherapist with a passion for biomechanics. He utilises this knowledge to understand the injury process better, what has caused it, and expedite your recovery.

Alex is a Practice Principal of the Ashgrove PhysioWorks clinic and also works out of our Clayfield PhysioWorks clinic.
