Elizabeth Moir - Occupational Therapist

Elizabeth (Liz) loves working with children to help them develop the skills they need in order to engage in family, school or community activities. She particularly enjoys seeing children grow in confidence as they master new skills, as well as working alongside families and teachers to develop strategies to support their child. Liz believes that all children should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and grow in confidence and with independence.

Liz is an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in supporting children to reach their developmental potential, and be an active participant within their family, school and community. She has previously presented at state and national conferences. After investigating the skills and knowledge required to work in paediatric occupational therapy practice as a part of her Honours research, Liz is focusing on the transition to practice for new graduate occupational therapists for her PhD.
