
Shakeel is a Physiotherapist with a passion for vestibular and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Shakeel graduated from Griffith University with First Class Honours and was awarded the University Medal for academic excellence. During his studies, Shakeel developed a strong interest in the management of dizziness and vestibular disorders, completing his Honours research on vestibular function in adolescent athletes. Shakeel has since completed further training in vestibular and dizziness rehabilitation and is currently undertaking a PhD investigating vestibular function and concussion in athletes, working alongside an experienced team of vestibular and sports physiotherapists.
With a background in high-level soccer and experience providing on-field medical coverage for soccer and AFL, he also has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries. Having personally undergone two ACL reconstructions, he understands the physical and mental challenges of rehabilitation and brings that experience into his clinical practice.
Shakeel’s goal is to empower his clients through holistic, patient-centred care – blending education, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy to support recovery and long-term wellbeing.
