Brittany Atfield - Occupational Therapist

Brittany graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies in 2012. She completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science prior to that. Brittany has worked as an Occupational Therapist in hospitals both in Brisbane and London in a variety of areas; including rehabilitation, medical and surgical wards, trauma/orthopaedics, geriatrics and emergency departments. While working in London a rotation in Hand Therapy sparked an interest in specialising in this area, which led to pursuing this on my return to Brisbane in late 2019.

Brittany enjoys helping people achieve their rehabilitation goals and maximise their abilities, and has an interest in the rehabilitation of traumatic hand and upper limb injuries.

Brittany joined the Extend team in late 2019 and is an associate member of the AHTA working towards her accreditation.
