Dr Viana Vuvan is a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist, lecturer and researcher with over 15 years of clinical experience helping people manage a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. She teaches into both the undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy programs at The University of Queensland.

Viana enjoys working with people across all stages of recovery and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in the assessment and management of upper limb injuries, particularly persistent shoulder and elbow pain. Her PhD research, completed in 2020, focused on better understanding lateral elbow tendinopathy (also known as tennis elbow), including why some people experience more severe or ongoing symptoms. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international conferences. Viana remains actively involved in research aimed at improving care for people with persistent upper limb pain.
