Avin is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist holding a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) from the University of Queensland. Avin enjoys working with people from all walks of life, valuing the opportunity to support individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and goals through exercise and movement. He has strong interest in paediatric exercise physiology, supporting children and young people with disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and motor or neurological conditions. He also works closely with adults managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, or looking to improve their overall wellbeing. Known for his personable and approachable nature, Avin strives to create an engaging and supportive environment where every individual can move, grow, and thrive in their own way.
Avin’s Honours research thesis focused on exploring sport development pathway models for Pacific Island nations in the lead up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. Being a lifelong sport enthusiast with a passion for all footballing codes, Avin is truly driven by the belief that movement can empower people of all ages and abilities to live healthier, more confident lives. Outside of work, Avin enjoys playing soccer, spending time with friends and family and travelling.
