Sam completed his Physiotherapy studies at ACU in 2021, following five years working as an Exercise Physiologist and Strength and Conditioning Coach. During this time, he worked with a range of adolescent athletes and adults, managing a broad spectrum of conditions and helping them work towards their individual goals.

Since transitioning into Physiotherapy, this experience has continued to develop into a strong interest in working with these populations, using a practical and individualised approach to achieve the best outcomes for each patient.

Sam enjoys treating a wide variety of clients, with a particular interest in lower limb soft tissue and ligament injuries, as well as back and neck pain.

Since graduating, Sam has worked as the head physiotherapist for the Morningside Women’s AFL team, alongside completing sports coverage for softball, soccer and touch football. He has also accumulated five years of experience as an exercise Physiotherapist within an AFL football program, further developing his skills in both rehabilitation and acute injury management.

Sam’s interest in Physiotherapy stems from his own extensive injury history playing sport, particularly basketball, which continues to shape his approach to patient care.
