Orthopaedic Physiotherapy

Children can develop a number of orthopaedic conditions or sustain an orthopaedic injury through their development. In some instances these conditions require conservative management which may involve physiotherapy intervention to minimise pain and strengthen particular muscles around the affected area. In some cases these children may require surgical management and physiotherapy may be necessary during the post-surgical rehabilitation.

Some of the orthopaedic conditions managed at the clinic include:

  • Perthes
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Scoliosis
  • Recurrent Shoulder Dislocations
  • Post fracture management
  • Juvenile Arthritis
