Rhiannon Thomas - Physiotherapist

Rhiannon grew up on a cattle property outside of Allora, QLD. She completed her Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University on the Gold Coast and has loved working in private practice since.

Rhiannon has been a keen horse rider since early childhood and has spent a great deal of time in a physio clinic working to prevent and recover from injuries and enjoyed the experience so decided to make it her career. Rhiannon still rides competitively in Dressage and every spare minute she has you will find her in a stable or in the arena training!

Rhiannon enjoys working with athletes to improve their performance through assessing technique, areas of weakness and developing individualised resistance training programs. She has done additional training in 2019 focusing on reformer and mat pilates and has enjoyed being able to implement these exercises into her management of patients.

Rhiannon also has an interest in temporomandibular joint injuries, horse rider and dancing injuries, shoulder and knee rehabilitation, including post-op recovery and return to play.
