Jemma Ploughman graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2017. Whilst studying Jemma worked as an Athletics Coach, Junior Sport Instructor and a disability carer, working with both adults and children. This gave her the opportunity to work with children of various age groups and increased her understanding of their motor needs and abilities.
Jemma’s interests include handwriting development, fine motor skills and social and emotional development. Jemma enjoys working as a Paediatric OT because the therapy can be fun and interactive whilst assisting both the child and the family to reach their goals. On the weekends you will normally find Jemma at the beach, going camping or water-skiing and wakeboarding.
