Abby grew up in the Mid North on the family farm near a small town called Avon, completing her schooling in the nearby town of Balaklava. Abby completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 at The University of South Australia, and after working in the Barossa for 2 ½ years she relocated to Port Lincoln in May 2017.

Abby has undertaken further training and gained qualification in;

  • dry needling practices
  • Antenatal and Clinical Pilates
  • BPPV
  • Tendinopathy Management
  • Sports, Strength and Conditioning courses.

She is also experienced in hydrotherapy and gym exercise modalities.

With a passion for hands on physiotherapy, Abby is a strong believer in working collaboratively with patients to achieve their goals. Adhering to the philosophy that home exercises are the “treatment between treatments” and that they are a wonderful way for patients to gain relief in between sessions and even reduce the number of sessions required. Furthermore, that these should always be individually prescribed to suit client needs and interests.

She also believes in the robust approach to health that incorporates a biopsychosocial approach of both a healthy body and mind.  Abby prides herself on being a country girl at heart who enjoys a good laugh.
