Principal Accredited Practising Dietitian at Shaw Nutrition, Kirsty Shaw, has practised in nutrition for over 16 years, graduating from the University of Wollongong as a dietitian in 2001 with First Class Honours. Kirsty is also a TA-qualified triathlon coach and personal trainer with a Certificate III and IV in fitness instruction from the former Fitness Institute of Australia (now FIA Fit Nation).
Kirsty has worked in a variety of settings and countries including community nutrition, acute hospitals, universities and specialist clinics, from rural towns in Victoria to the United Kingdom (Belfast, Norwich and Manchester) and Australia’s largest private hospital in Brisbane. There aren’t too many diets or eating habits that surprise her anymore, and she loves the challenge of working with all types of people.
She has experience in diverse areas of practice but her special interest and expertise lies in endurance sports nutrition and plant-based eating.
