Allsports Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Clinic – Toowong has been consistently providing dynamic and up to date sports medicine services of exceptional quality since its inception in May 2001. Kylie Baldwin
BPhty (Hons – 1st Class)

Kylie joined Allsports Physiotherapy Toowong as a new graduate in early 2009 after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Queensland. Her Honours research investigated lumbo-pelvic stability, exploring the activation patterns of the trunk muscles under various types of loading. Kylie provides onsite corporate physiotherapy services to Sealy of Australia, as well as sports physiotherapy to Western Bulldogs Rugby Union Club. She is also a certified clinical pilates instructor and coordinates the clinic's pilates programs.


Michael Burke
BPhty

Michael Burke is a 1995 graduate of the University of QLD. After spending 4 years working in clinics and hospitals in various locations throughout Queensland, NSW and England, he joined the Allsports Physiotherapy group in 1999. Over the past 14 years he has been physiotherapist to The Queensland Lions Soccer Club Premier League Team, Brisbane Boys College 1st 15 Rugby Squad, and has spent four seasons as physiotherapist to the Brisbane Bullets National Basketball League team.  He is currently the head physiotherapist for the Brisbane Olympic Football Club Q-League soccer squad.  Michael has also guest-lectured at the University of QLD for the Human Movements Department and for Sports Medicine Australia. His special interests lie in all areas of sports injury rehabilitation. He is also a certified clinical pilates instructor and is involved in delivering the clinic's pilates programs.

 

Chris Gillies
BPhty

Chris graduated from The University of Queensland in 1994. He joined Allsports Physiotherapy in 2000 after working in various clinics in Qld and the United Kingdom. Since joining Allsports, he has provided physiotherapy services to QAS Rugby League squads and to both Ipswich Grammar and Brisbane Boys College 1st XV Rugby Union Squads between 2000 and 2005. From 2004 through to 2008, he was physiotherapist to the Brisbane Bullets National Basketball League team. He is currently head physiotherapist for the Western Bulldogs Rugby Union Football Club premier league side. Chris also provides corporate physiotherapy to Sealy of Australia, providing on-site physiotherapy including ergonomic assessment, pre-employment screening and manual handling training.

 

Lauren Reynolds

BPhty (Hons - 1st Class)

 

Lauren joined Allsports Physiotherapy Toowong in 2005 after graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours. Her Honours research investigated the role of transversus abdominis in lumbopelvic stability using real-time ultrasound. Lauren has just returned from a year working in both the public and private health system in the UK. She is currently the club physiotherapist for Brisbane Olympic Football Club, and has previously provided physiotherapy services to Queensland Judo, Brisbane Boys College Rugby Union and Sealy of Australia. She has a special interest in pre-natal and post-natal physiotherapy as well as post-surgical orthopaedics.

Trevor Fiske

Dip Remedial Massage, Cert IV Massage

 

Trevor has been practising massage at Allsports Physiotherapy Toowong since August 2009, and is proficient in a variety of soft tissue techniques incluing Swedish, Deept Tissue, and Sports Massage, in addition to Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. Boasting a broad knowledge base and set of skills, each treatment is tailored to the individual client and therefore no two massages are the same. Trevor enjoys working on a variety of clients including athletes, people recovering from physical and sporting activity , post-surgical patients, stroke victims, sufferers of neck and back pain, through to clients who just want to get a regular tune up and relax.

 

He is a member of ANTA and is currently registered with all health funds.

 

PODIATRIST

Scott Morrison
B.Hlth.Sc (Pod)(Hons) B.Sc (HMS) M.A.Pod.A

Scott completed degrees in both Podiatry and Human Movement Studies in 2001. He has a keen interest in sport and has played premier grade rugby union for several years. In recent times he has assited coaching the junior members of his club. In the past 2 years, Scott has provided podiatry services to both the Brisbane Bullets and QLD Roar Football Club.

 

Scott is an accredited member of the Australian Podiatry Association and the QLD Sports Podiatry Group. His special interests within Podiatry include lower limb biomechanics, Paediatrics, and footwear design. Scott's personal interests include touch football and golf.
